The LION Hand Unit is an autonomous not-for-profit institution in Malawi where BSSH and BAHT aim to work with and train local surgeons, trainees and therapists to deliver and educate in patient care.

The BSSH is the information and education body for Hand Surgery in the UK. We strive to improve the care of patients who suffer from hand injuries and hand disorders through education and research, and by promoting and directing the development of Hand Surgery. The Society is a member of FESSH.

Every other month the Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume) brings together an international faculty of experts, authors and fellows to discuss recent papers and facilitate engaging discussions regarding shared practice and innovation in hand surgery.
