About us
HANDS ON is a network for patients, family members, caregivers, and the general public who want to contribute to the work of the BSSH (British Society for Surgery of the Hand). We're here to make a difference and improve the lives of patients with hand conditions through patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE)
About you
If you have a hand or wrist condition, have had an injury or infection of the hand or wrist, or if you're a family member, caregiver, or just interested in this field, we welcome you to join us. You don't need any special knowledge, just a willingness to share your experiences and life skills.
Our Goals
The aim of the group is to make sure that patients and the public are given the opportunity to influence the future care of patients with hand conditions. This includes how hand care is delivered, research priorites and patient information.
