Building on our work in individual project countries, BSSH was pleased to receive an invite from the West African College of Surgeon’s (WACS) to deliver a 2-day pre-conference hand trauma workshop, deliver a presentation on the history of BSSH and its overseas work as part of the main scientific meeting, and meet officers of the college to build on informal discussions and develop a strategic plan for BSSH to support the development of hand surgery across the 16 countries in West Africa.
