Patient Information Working Group
High quality patient information is an important part of delivering high quality care.
The patient information section on the BSSH website is very popular. However, the production of modern patient information has moved on and we need to meet these new standards.
The BSSH Education Committee has established a working group to develop a new suite of patient information.
The production process has gained accreditation with the Patient Information Forum.
The group is currently testing the process with the first two topics – volar plate injury and trigger finger.
We are keen to hear from medical illustrators, who might be interested in joining the team

If you would like to write for the group you can see a 10 point Guidance for Patient Information Project Authors - as an overview of what is involved
If you would like further information, or to contribute to the writing groups, please contact secretariat@bssh.ac.uk
