UK National Hand Registry (formerly the Audit Database)

The BSSH Audit database is evolving to into the UK National Hand Registry.  This reflects several changes.  We have been working to make data entry and follow-up easier, and we are continuing to improve this.

The analyses that the system provides can support your appraisal and revalidation.  However, they involve comparing your outcomes to the average in the system.  This is only meaningful if the system contains as much data as possible, to give a fair reflection of the average UK outcome.

If you currently use the system to audit specific procedures for short intermittent periods, we would be grateful if would consider continually entering all patients into the system, as this will make it better for you and your colleagues
