The 2-day residential Leicester Hand Fracture Management Course has been successfully running for many years. The course offers a combination of expert lectures, practical sessions, and case discussions, led by a host of experienced faculty from across the UK, including multiple former BSSH presidents. The practical sessions utilise sawbones and hand fracture fixation sets, offering candidates to understand the principles of decision making in hand fracture management, followed by the opportunity to put these theoretical foundations to the test in fixing a range of fracture types during the practical sessions. Nearby accommodation is available, and the course fee includes lunch on both days, as well as a group dinner.
