Summary of progress /findings: Progress hampered by pandemic and the change in clinical practice that this has brought about. Survey and service evaluation data capture both created and piloted on REDCap. Next stage is rollout of survey using RSTN network – this will be in the 1-2 months with an aim to complete before the end of the year.
What is the relevance/value of this research to hand surgery? There is clinical equipoise in the management of this injury. Establishing feasibility of a randomised controlled trial – ideally to establish surgery vs. non-surgery for acute complete UCL injuries
