Led by Professor Jagtar Dhanda\, VRiMS has organised courses nationally and internationally\, often aimed at low-to-middle income countries to support surgical trainees. Following several successful plastic surgery themed courses in Africa and East Asia\, VRiMS are organising a cadaveric dissection course using virtual reality and traditional dissection. During the week of the 9th of September\, a head and neck\, organ retrieval and upper limb course is being organised simultaneously at the University of Surrey.\n\nThis 2-day course will be using VR simulation and lectures to explore common surgical approaches to the hand\, fracture fixation techniques\, and tendon repair. The second day is focused on upper limb flaps\, distal to proximal and perforator dissection for these flaps\, as well as an introduction to common donor sites such as the ALT flap.\n\nTo sign up to each course\, email info@vrims.net with the subject 'M7'.
